Loza is in for best trick after some question due to a nagging injury… I wonder what this will look like that he’s planning to throw out…

He has been focusing on perfecting the bike flip, but will unfortunately not be able to attempt it at X this year.
He's been in the foam pit every day, including today Wednesday, July 28, and will continue to leading up to Best Trick. And yes, he DOES have a new trick to debut at X. It's tough to describe, but it's something like a dead body through the handlebars, but then his body rolls to a facedown position over the bars, before he finishes by swinging his legs around the side of bike like a facedown dead body turntable."

Cruised out to X Games yesterday to nab a quick video update/interview with Sherri Cruse after she finished up practice yesterday.

So yeah, he's pretty much on another level. The way he used the walls was insane. Basically using it as a halfpipe without the aid of transition? Pfffff...next level fellas.

Here's the run.

Seriously though...like, how can they pull this shit at other events...but then come to X Games and just completely fail on a monumental scale. I get the pressure and the limelight of a worldwide audience, but you should have that shit DIALED...especially something that dangerous. Like, it took him a good second and a half to decide "oh, I should start into my endo....NOW"....like what? We all know as soon as you take off, you're either feeling good or you're not, just nuts he completely brain farted like that. Could have cost him his spine or worse, death....jesus.

No doubt dude, you said it. He blew it SO BAD. The least he could’ve done is got it most of the way around, landed on the back and crashed… but he didn’t even start the forward rotation until he was in the air and at that point he was a dead sailor. So Bad.

Rockstar*SD said it looked like someone’s first try ever doing a frontflip. :eyewater:  :weird: I feel bad for the guy though because you know he worked at it all year to throw it away like that, he’s gotta be so bummed right now… Let alone he has to wait for another year to get a shot at it on the big stage (if Fitzpatrick doesn’t beat him to it).

In other news, did anyone get to watch MotoX Speed & Style? My DVR missed it somehow, but I was hearing some crazy stuff went on before the final round… All they have up is Travis’ Gold run and this recap from X-Center.

I saw it...pretty dope. Stenberg crashed out in the semi finals...which everyone thought that Feist was guaranteed the Bronze....but not so. They thought Stenberg's bike was broke (bent bars cus he ghost rode it after crashing) but I guess he got his bars fixed and was able to race Feist for Bronze. So they get going, and Stenberg and Feist were neck to neck thru first half of lap...Sten went into the banked carpeted corner and slipped out again...so fiest was way ahead, about a half lap at this point by the time Sten got back on his bike...however in the whoops, Feists' bike stalled or something and he was stuck kickstarting the bike for like 2 minutes while Sten re-took lead and cruised to an easy victory. Then after finishing, Stenberg didn't hit the last ramp (which you don't have to do at the finish) but Deegan ran up to him while he was celebrating and told him he had to hit the ramp. So him and feist start wrestling kind of to get back on their bikes to hit the ramp....Sten hits ramp first to win. I think Deegan was fucking with him though, and this was after Sten again ghostrode his bike off the giant landing, making it do like 3 flips and bending bars super bad. So Deegan tells him he has to hit the ramp with super fucked up bars. :haha: Funny shit. But it was weird.
